Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled X-Ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assist physicians in patient care, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilitie s

1. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment.
2. Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images.
3. Review images for quality and clarity and repeat procedures if necessary.
4. Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
5. Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during imaging procedures.
8. Educate patients about the imaging process and address any concerns.

Required Qualifications

1. Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
2. Valid state license or certification as an X-Ray Technician.
3. Proven experience in radiographic imaging and patient care.
4. Knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
2. Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques or modalities.
3. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Certifications

1. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent.
2. PR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
