Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent for Commercial/Healthcare OSHPD Projects. Parking Garage experience in the construction industry a plus. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong background in commercial construction, commercial interior, installation of finishes, and medical facilities. The chosen candidate will be a key player in the development and execution of our construction projects, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including project planning, design, procurement, construction, and completion.
2. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the construction project, including the coordination of material and labor, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
4. Ensure all construction operations comply with OSHPD regulations and guidelines, particularly in the context of healthcare facilities.
5. Implement and manage quality control programs.
6. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
7. Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
9. Leverage CMiC software for project management, including document control, job cost, and project management functionalities.
10. Proactively mitigate project risks and oversee project safety measures.
11. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a superintendent role, preferably within the commercial/healthcare construction industry.
3. Experience in managing construction projects for medical facilities, ideally in the context of OSHPD / HCAi.
4. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
5. Proficient in using construction management software, especially CMiC.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
9. Demonstrated ability to deliver a finished product that meets financial, time, and quality targets.
10. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
