Now hiring a Lead Sheet Metal Mechanic for long term work in Tribune, KS. This is a new school addition.
Leading a crew of journeyman sheet metal mechanics in the installation of all aspects of HVAC systems, including ductwork, setting hangers, rooftop units, and more, often working from ladders. This is a new school with 6 months of work, must have great interpersonal skills in dealing with GC's and other leadmen. Pay rate is up to $39 per hour plus $100 per diem days worked. Schedule is working 4- ten-hour days and Fridays 5 hours, 45 hours per week +.
Requirements: -Must have 7 plus years as a journeyman sheet metal mechanic. -Able to read, interpret and work off blueprints -Must always be dependable and professional -Must have all hand tools of the trade as well as a cordless drill -Must wear all PPE and have dependable transportation. -Must pass pre-employment screenings
