Airport Customer Service Representative

The Airport Customer Service Representative provides assistance and information to airport passengers. Pay: $20 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• No experience required and on the job training provided

General Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting airline passengers at the airport requiring assistance other than transportation.

Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions:

• Act as liaison at the information booth in baggage claim.
• Stationed at various airport locations, including the main ticket lobby level to answer questions and provide information to passengers.
• Greet and assist passengers arriving from international flights.
• Bin running for TSA as required.
• Other duties as required.

Individual may be required to talk, hear and use hands to handle or feel for 2/3 or more of the work shift. Individual may be required to lift up to 75 pounds at various times or occasions during their shift. The individual must be able to work in a high stress environment.

Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
