About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Construction and Design Administration to oversee the design and execution of its national portfolio of healthcare and office development projects. This senior leadership position is pivotal in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all phases of project design and construction, from early planning to closeout, and must have a strong technical foundation in commercial construction, extensive knowledge of healthcare and office building standards, and experience in managing large-scale projects across multiple jurisdictions. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Construction and Design Administration include guiding design teams, overseeing contractor selection and performance, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring full compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The role also involves mentoring project management staff, collaborating with internal stakeholders on financial aspects, and serving as a key liaison with clients, partners, and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a hands-on leader, and will take pride in mentoring high-performing teams. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an advanced degree or MBA preferred, along with a minimum of 10 years' of experience in commercial construction, particularly in healthcare and office developments. Professional certifications such as BOMA, PMP, CCM, or LEED AP are strongly preferred.
