About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Conservation Policy to lead its national efforts in protecting and restoring imperiled species and habitats. Applicants for the Vice President, Conservation Policy position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in the field, including 7 years in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wildlife and natural resource conservation, with experience in private, federal, and state agencies, and a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government entities, NGOs, and the public. The Vice President will be expected to drive the development of innovative conservation strategies, manage a high-performing team, and ensure that the organization's resources are focused on high-impact conservation projects.
