Unit: Intermediate Care/Progressive Care (IMCU/PCU)
Shift: 6:30a–7:00p
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Floating: Required
Locals Accepted: <75 miles (local rate)
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed

Requirements

2+ years IMCU/PCU experience with travel experience

2 recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references

Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA)

Active NY RN license + all RN licenses verified via Nursys

EPIC experience

Skills checklist matching specialty

Driver’s license matching demographics

RTO submitted at time of profile

Unit Details

Common diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD), DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op

Specialty equipment: Temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune VAPO

Ventilator patients: Chronic vents (unable to wean; RT to assist)

Patient population: Adults (18+)

Beds: 64 total, 15 designated Neuro

Advantage Staffing Services Job ID #1426. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
