Store Manager with Food Service (Ditsch Products)

OXXO USA is seeking an energetic and experienced Retail Store Manager with Food Service to lead one of our high-performing retail locations featuring Ditsch a globally recognized brand known for its artisan-quality pretzels, pizzas and baked snacks.

As the Store Manager with Food Services Manager, you will oversee the exceptional quality and presentation of freshly baked Ditsch products. You'll lead your team in delivering warm, friendly service and consistently delicious food to our customers blending OXXO USA’s convenience excellence with Ditsch’s rich European baking tradition.

Founded in 1919, Ditsch has built a global reputation for its artisan-quality pretzel specialties, pizzas, and baked snacks. With roots in German baking craftsmanship, Ditsch products are known for their oven-fresh aroma and attention to detail. As a Store Manager with Food Services, you will be entrusted with upholding these standards and ensuring that each customer enjoys the warm, welcoming experience Ditsch is known for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage a food service location that features in-store preparation and baking of Ditsch products, ensuring product freshness and consistency throughout the day.
• Uphold and promote Ditsch’s baking craftsmanship, ensuring that pretzels and other baked items are oven-fresh, properly handled, and served with care.
• Monitor and manage food prep areas, including cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety regulations, with a focus on Ditsch's standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor employees with an emphasis on high-quality food service, Ditsch preparation methods, and customer interaction at the counter.
• Maximize store profitability through inventory control, food waste management, and labor optimization while delivering on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Create a welcoming store environment by maintaining clean, inviting sales and food areas, reinforcing both OXXO USA’s and Ditsch brand standards.
• Foster a team culture that values reliability, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction—qualities essential to both OXXO and Ditsch.
• Oversee employee schedules, ensure proper staffing during high-traffic times, and engage in hands-on leadership during peak food service hours.
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and Ditsch product-specific food handling guidelines, including freshness standards and temperature control.
• Act as the primary contact for any customer issues, inquiries about Ditsch products, and food service quality concerns.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Two (2) or more years’ experience working in a food service or retail with food service environment (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License and transportation to/from bank and corporate meeting & valid vehicle insurance (Required)
• Previous leadership experience. (Preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Excel

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Schedule flexibility is essential; managers are expected to work peak business hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move product, stay active on your feet, and handle store logistics
• Skilled in inventory management, staff development, and customer engagement
• Clear and professional communication (verbal, written, and digital)
• Oversee all food safety related activities (preparation, food handling, storage) are conducted in accordance with regulation requirements.
• Oversee all related food policies of franchise operation including required certifications are followed.
• Responsible for teaching and role emulating proper customer service and suggestive selling techniques.
• Communicating sales and profitability goals to store associates and providing feedback.
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding store budget and sales volumes
• Must have a form of communication to be reached.
• Is responsible for continued training, education, and development of all employees in the assigned store. All employees will complete training according to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Responsible for unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise and keeping shelves stocked.
