Job Description

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong background in auditing and compliance. As part of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial processes while adhering to regulatory standards. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive audits to evaluate financial processes and compliance with regulatory standards. - Prepare detailed audit workpapers, ensuring all findings are thoroughly documented and supported. - Develop and update process flowcharts to enhance understanding of key business operations. - Review and analyze core business processes, including revenue, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory management. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. - Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and other relevant auditing standards. - Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable manner. - Assist in the development of audit plans and programs to address organizational risks. - Monitor and report on the progress of corrective actions stemming from audit findings. - Stay updated on changes to U.S. regulations and auditing standards to maintain compliance. Requirements - At least 2-3 years of auditing experience, preferably within a Big Four firm or equivalent. - Possession of at least one relevant certification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent. - Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. - Proven ability to document processes, create flowcharts, and prepare detailed audit workpapers. - Familiarity with key business processes, including revenue, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders. - Ability to work onsite on a permanent basis in Boca Raton, Florida.
