Job Summary

As Sr. UX designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface design for our products. With a focus on interaction design and UX research you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually compelling and user-friendly designs. Your expertise will drive the ideation and execution of innovative design solutions enhancing our consumer lending domain offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Oversee the creation of intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Conduct comprehensive UX research and analysis to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with product managers developers and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on interaction design ensuring seamless user journeys and interactions.
• Develop and present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
• Utilize UX design ideation techniques to generate innovative solutions that address user pain points and business challenges.
• Ensure consistency and coherence in design elements across various platforms and devices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design to continuously enhance design quality.
• Mentor and support junior designers fostering a collaborative and creative design environment.
• Contribute to the development of design guidelines and standards to maintain a cohesive brand identity.
• Collaborate with UX researchers to conduct usability testing and gather user feedback for iterative design improvements.
• Drive the adoption of user-centered design principles across the organization.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in interaction design with proven experience in UX research and analysis.
• Demonstrate expertise in UX design ideation and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive designs.
• Have a solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Experience in the consumer lending domain is a plus providing valuable insights into user needs and behaviors.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Show proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Sketch or Figma.
• Display a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-centric designs.

  Salary and Other Compensation:

  The annual salary for this position is between $50,000/Year to $100,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

  This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
