Position Overview:

As a Senior IT Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the overall IT infrastructure of this organization. You will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, resolving complex IT issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of both Mac and Windows systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hardware and software configurations, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. End-User Support:

    • Provide expert-level support to end-users on both Mac and Windows platforms.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
    • Assist with the configuration, installation, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  2. System Administration:

    • Administer and support Mac and Windows servers.
    • Implement and manage security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
    • Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks.
  3. Software Deployment:

    • Coordinate and execute software deployment and updates across Mac and Windows environments.
    • Collaborate with other teams to ensure software compatibility and integration.
  4. Documentation and Training:

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and configurations.
    • Provide training to end-users on best practices and efficient use of IT resources.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address IT-related needs.
    • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on both Mac and Windows environments.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Strong knowledge of system administration on both Mac and Windows platforms.
  • Experience with software deployment and updates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, Microsoft Certified: Windows Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
