Position: Sr. Fortinet Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Ashburn, VA OR Dallas TX (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Start: Onsite Day 1 – (within 2 weeks of offer if relocating)
1 year contract-Only W2

Project Overview:
This role will support testing and implementation of new Fortinet technology being adopted by the client and their government partner. Your work will be vital in ensuring stable, seamless internet services for end users. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with one of the largest telecom providers in the world and expand your experience across a broad tech stack.
Qualifications:
Active Public Trust or ability to obtain one
7+ years of Fortinet experience, including:
FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer
Physical and virtual appliance experience
Strong knowledge of firewall technology
Strong networking background, specifically with:
IPSEC
BGP
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with planning teams to gather requirements
Develop and execute test cases
Certify network and security designs
Implement and test Fortinet upgrades
Develop MOPs/SOPs and validate with operations teams
