Job Description

Seeking a high-caliber Senior Project Manager (SPM) to lead large-scale commercial, multifamily, and hospitality developments across the San Antonio Metropolitan Area. This is a strategic leadership role for a professional who excels at high-stakes project execution, financial oversight, and fostering long-term client partnerships.

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will take full ownership of the project lifecycle, managing assets valued at $10M+ .

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Project Ownership: Drive projects from pre-construction and conceptual budgeting through final punch-list and closeout.
  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, oversee procurement strategies, and maintain strict cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Strategic Scheduling: Build and monitor complex CPM schedules (Critical Path Method), ensuring all milestones are met without compromising quality.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the principal liaison between clients, architects, structural engineers, and internal executives to ensure alignment.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise project teams and subcontractors, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and professional growth.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential site or contractual risks and implement robust contingency plans.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all work adheres to San Antonio building codes, Texas state regulations, and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Project Management experience, specifically within the commercial or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven Track Record: Successful delivery of projects in the $10M to $50M+ range.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of Procore , MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Leadership Excellence: Strong ability to negotiate contracts, manage complex personalities, and lead under pressure.
