As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Tech in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic technology, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and support a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors alike. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
