Position Summary: A Security Guard with The Salvation Army is charged with maintaining a safe environment for all employees, clients, and visitors to the Kroc Center Hawaii. The position provides a visual security presence to ensure that members and guests have a safe and pleasant experience while visiting the Center. The position will also be responsible for facility monitoring during hours of operation as well as when closed. Candidate will all also execute emergency response procedures as required. The Security Guard will have a deep commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army, which will be evident in his or her professional life and the manner in which he or she represents The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in the community.
Required Education and Experience: Must have current valid State of Hawaii Guard Card. High School diploma or equivalent required. One-two years' work experience. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, follow detailed procedures, and have good customer service skills. Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be accepted.
