The RN (Nurse) ECC at Yale New Haven Health System provides patient-centered nursing care within the legal and ethical framework established by professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluation while upholding leadership, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. The role requires licensure as a Registered Nurse, a BSN preferred, and the ability to provide compassionate, culturally competent care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
