Mercy South offers an RNFA Fellowship for any OR Experienced RN interested in obtaining an RNFA. This is a great opportunity for you to receive paid training and orientation to obtain your credentials and advance in your OR Career!

*Note: BSN Degree is a prerequisite to be eligible.

Day-one comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance

 

Mercy South OR conducts a variety of cases including Orthopedics, Neurology, General and Vascular Services. RNs are typically hired into one of these specialty pods, and may have the opportunity to cross-train to other pods in the department.

Proposed Schedule : Three 12s, Four 10s or Five 8s (Days)

Location : Mercy South.

Overview:

 

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the over all effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and guiding principles.

Qualifications:

• Education : BSN Degree

• Licensure : Active RN licensure in the State of Missouri

• Experience : Must have a minimum of 3 years Operating Room experience.

• Certifications :

  • CNOR required.

  • RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer. 

  • BLS/ACLS required within first year.
    

• Other : Demonstrates continued competence in assisting and in perioperative nursing
