Pharmacist
Hot Spring, South Dakota

MUST:
Experienced Pharmacist
Must have an active and good standing South Dakota Pharmacist License
Must have management experience as a Pharmacist
Experience with 340B program is highly preferred

DUTIES:
Pharmacist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following
Manage pharmacy and therapeutics (P&T) committees evaluate the clinical use of medications and develop policies for managing access to them and for ensuring effective drug use and administration
Manages the hospital's AMS program at a day-to-day level and is responsible for enacting the strategies to achieve the goals determined by the AMS committee
Work with operations coordinator to implement clinical initiatives
Assist with fill orders
Overseeing daily pharmacy operations, including medication procurement, storage, distribution, and sterile compounding, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Manage IV prep
Participating in quality improvement projects, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency
Assist with new order entry
overseeing the clinical operations and staff within the pharmacy department, ensuring the provision of safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical care
