Job Description
*Personal Injury Attorney *
“Doing Right by Our Clients is Our Practice.”
*Odegaard Law Group PC* is growing and seeking to hire two attorneys for our Billings office. Lawyers with two or more years of civil practice experience and strong writing skills are encouraged to apply.
The firm’s lawyers have decades of experience representing Montanans who have been seriously injured at work and individuals harmed by the negligence of others and insurance company misconduct. Our Billings-based lawyers handle personal injury cases of all types, including insurance bad-faith matters. Our Helena-based lawyers handle most of the firm’s workers’ compensation cases. The firm’s new lawyers will focus on developing a personal injury practice but will have the opportunity to handle workers’ compensation cases and broaden their knowledge of the interplay between workers’ compensation and tort law.
Odegaard Law Group employs a top-notch paralegal and legal support team with extensive experience across a variety of civil practice settings. We utilize cutting-edge technology and software, responsibly use AI, and have developed our own processes and procedures to ensure the attorney and staff understand their roles and the actions required to provide every client with the best possible experience while working tirelessly to obtain the best possible result with their case.
The firm’s new lawyers will be assigned a docket of cases and will work with senior attorneys on case development, motion practice, written discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and preparing for trial.
Our lawyers are encouraged to continually hone their craft, expected to work collaboratively with our team, and always expected to do right by our clients. New lawyers are generously compensated and are eligible for health, dental, vision, voluntary short-term and long-term disability, and life/accidental death insurance, with coverage options available for spouse and dependents. We offer Roth and Traditional 401(K) with matching participation. The firm annually contributes to employee Health Savings Accounts and provides year-end performance bonuses.
Interested applicants may submit a cover letter, resume, professional references, and a writing sample through this site*.* Applicants may also contact our office for instructions on submitting the same documents to us via email or our secure upload portal. We will prioritize interviews with applicants who provide a redacted transcript of a deposition they have conducted.
We look forward to hearing from you.
