Base pay range $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr Overview We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Training Developer to support a major Finance module upgrade within the Oracle PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment. This project involves a complete modernization of the Finance side, transitioning from Classic to the new Fluid user interface, resulting in significant changes to both functionality and user experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, updating, and delivering comprehensive training materials that ensure a smooth transition for end users. This role requires someone highly self‑sufficient and skilled in PeopleSoft training content development, instructional design, and eLearning authoring. Responsibilities Develop and update PeopleSoft Finance training documentation, including user guides, job aids, and eLearning content. Create and enhance training courses, job aids, and instructional videos to support new features and user interface changes. Update and modernize existing training materials to align with the new Fluid interface. Utilize eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 3 (or comparable tools like Storyline 2, Storyline 360, or Adobe Captivate) to create engaging Web‑Based Training (WBT). Use Natural Reader or comparable text‑to‑speech authoring tools for narration and accessibility support. Collaborate with Finance subject matter experts and project lead to ensure accuracy and alignment with business processes. Manage and track training delivery through systems such as: Nest (Cornerstone OnDemand’s SaaS LMS) – Manage Instructor‑Led Training course registrations and completions for HCM users. Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center (COVLC, using Meridian software) – Manage Instructor‑Led and Web‑Based Training for FIN users. Support rollout and delivery of training across user groups. Leverage Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and client‑provided PeopleSoft Tools for documentation and training development. Use media tools such as Camtasia and Powtoon to create video tutorials and animated training content. Support training simulations and exercises within a training environment containing realistic data. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience developing PeopleSoft training content. Strong familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials (Finance side experience is essential). Proficiency in eLearning development using Articulate Storyline 3 or comparable tools, and Natural Reader or similar TTS software. Demonstrated experience creating end‑user training deliverables: manuals, eLearning modules, videos, and quick reference guides. Experience supporting a PeopleSoft upgrade or transition from Classic to Fluid UI preferred. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to PeopleSoft Financials and/or Human Capital Management 9.2 systems. Prior experience working with state or public sector organizations. Proven ability to quickly understand system changes and translate them into clear, user‑friendly materials. This is a project‑based role focused heavily on the Finance upgrade and training development efforts using a suite of industry‑standard training tools and authoring technologies.
