Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled PaaS Administrator - Tanzu Application to join our Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) team. This role involves supporting, deploying, and managing Tanzu Application Service (TAS) within our private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, integration with development tools, automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the PaaS environment.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or platform services.
Hands-on experience with Tanzu Application Service (TAS), Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG), Tanzu Mission Control, and Tanzu Service Mesh.
Expertise in VMware vSphere, private cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and monitoring platforms.
Experience with service brokers, application deployment, and workload monitoring.
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, compliance requirements, and disaster recovery planning.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, or VMware Cloud technologies.
Experience with cloud security frameworks and best practices.
Background in large-scale enterprise infrastructure and cloud migration projects.
