Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the general direction of the Director, Manager or Nurse Manager, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice and the generic and unit structure standards
What qualifications you will need:
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certified within 90 days of hire
- Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Research Medical Center is accredited by The Commission on Cancer. The Commission on Cancer Standard 4.2 requires the nursing professional to complete 12 Oncology specific CNEs/CMEs each calendar year OR to hold an accredited certification starting after one year of hire.
- One year oncology and chemotherapy experience required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse - Missouri Licensure (or compact)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
