Job Posting Summary

Assists RNs in the care of patients with healthcare needs including activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, collecting lab specimens, intake and output monitoring, and electronic medical record documentation. Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Courses Required: Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and current enrollment in nursing school. The following have been grandfathered into the Nursing Assistant role: Foreign nurse, Foreign Physician, and nursing assistants hired prior to April 23, 2015 without a Florida CNA license.

Must be a current ASN/BSN Nursing Student from an accredited program.


This position is designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) and will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
