Overview Jack in the Box - TEAM LEADER role at Giants Baseball & Softball Camps. This position serves as the first-line operational supervisor responsible for training and leading team members to consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensure great tasting/quality food, execute guest expectations, and maintain compliance with Jack in the Box procedures, systems and standards. Responsibilities Guest Experience – ensure guests are greeted and served promptly; coach team members to follow the Guest Expectations, including listening, apologizing, and resolving issues; apply JIB Smart Selling standards as appropriate. Team Training & Leadership – train and coach team members on job requirements; model calm, productive behavior during busy times; lead by example to maintain high performance and guest focus. Appearance & Presentation – enforce JIB uniform and grooming standards; model a neat, professional appearance. Store Readiness – ensure cleanliness and readiness of the restaurant interior and exterior; assist with order taking and cashiering during peak times; maintain readiness to serve guests as they arrive. Food Quality & Safety – monitor food quality, presentation, temperature standards; ensure food safety procedures and hand washing/glove policies are followed; complete the Food Safety Checklist each shift. Operational Excellence – maintain consistent, fast service; ensure order accuracy; coach team to reduce errors and re-train as needed; manage staff scheduling, breaks, and timekeeping in accordance with policies. Brand Ambassadorship – promote passion for the brand; inspire the team to embrace Jack in the Box values; represent the brand positively to guests and staff. Guest & Employee Focus – treat guests and employees with care and respect; handle guest concerns professionally; support employees to deliver exceptional service. Team Coordination – coordinate team resources to cover all roles, ensure adherence to standards and labor laws, and maintain a calm, efficient service environment. Front of Restaurant & Back of Restaurant Duties Performs other duties as assigned or directed. Includes guest service (dine-in/drive-thru), interior and exterior cleanliness, equipment maintenance, food prep, assembly, fryer operations, receiving & storage, and related tasks as part of daily operations. Qualifications Experience – 6 consecutive months JIB experience and 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes, or 1-year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Must be at least 18; complete Team Leader training; ServSafe certification in some states; proficient in English (additional language skills may be required by location); excellent interpersonal skills; basic math; ability to work with diverse teams; strong organizational and planning abilities; self-starter with integrity; basic computer skills; able to train others and manage to JIB policies and standards. Physical Requirements – ability to stand/walk most of shift, lift 15-25 lbs, listen to orders, operate POS, and read video monitors.
