Jack In The Box - ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER Join to apply for the Jack In The Box - ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER role at Giants Baseball & Softball Camps . Position Summary Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities are to provide excellent internal service, external service, and building restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties/Responsibilities Internal Service: Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees; monitor staffing levels; ensure training systems are implemented; develop internal candidates for management; foster a friendly, safe, and engaging restaurant environment; adhere to labor laws and company procedures. External Service: Manage daily operations to deliver exceptional guest experience; train and hold staff accountable for service and food quality; ensure adherence to JIB systems, safety, and cleanliness; address guest concerns professionally; maintain a positive brand image. Higher Profits: Analyze operational and financial performance using available tools; identify trends; develop action plans to increase sales and profitability; monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals. Training/Coaching/Development: Motivates and develops employees; provides timely feedback and recognizes performance. Food Quality/Safety: Strong focus on food safety and restaurant cleanliness; uses systems effectively. Business Management: Manages priorities, change, and decision-making; maintains organization and follow-through. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience Internal Promote: Minimum 1+ years as a Shift Leader or 1 year as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; 100% certification in all workstations. External Recruit: Minimum 3 years as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must be at least 18 years old; complete Assistant Manager training; ServSafe certified. Proficient in English (reading/writing), strong interpersonal skills; basic math; analytical and organizational abilities; self-starter; PC skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to other locations as required. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior. Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk 85-95% of shift; lift/carry 10-65 lbs; operate restaurant equipment and a computer keyboard; move throughout the restaurant; valid for job duties.
