Responsibilities and Duties - HR Assistant | Human Resources
Maintain personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Schedule interviews, prepare onboarding packets, and assist with orientation sessions.
Process HR forms and data entry into HRIS systems.
Respond to employee inquiries on policies, benefits, and general HR procedures.
Support recruitment activities, including posting job ads and screening applications.

Desired Qualifications For HR Assistant | Human Resources Candidates:
Experience in administrative support or HR-related functions.
Familiarity with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in HR or business preferred.
13 years of relevant experience.
Primarily focused on Professional and Management Development Training initiatives and aligned with 247 activities 247 Functional Area Activities.
Organization, time management, data accuracy, discretion.
Confidentiality, adaptability, attention to detail, service orientation.
Must maintain compliance with EEOC and city employment regulations.
Supports special HR projects such as employee engagement surveys.
