Accounting Manager Job Scope/Summary: TheAccounting Manager is responsible for providing support to the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks. You must be able to work independently and with the utmost integrity. You are responsible for managing the company’s financial information, ensuring accuracy of financial records, providing financial insights to senior management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, by gathering and analyzing financial data. Conducting financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis. Maintain accurate and complete financial records. Recording financial transactions by entering account information into the accounting software. Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date. Maintain internal controls within the organization. Conduct checks as often as necessary to evaluate their effectiveness. Reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable, income, and accounts receivable tasks. Preparation and filing of tax returns. Oversee audit by serving as a liaison to internal and external auditors for the audited. Qualifications and Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience. CPA/CA Designate. Proven supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and mentor junior staff within the finance department. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with an ERP system.
