Job Summary The Digital Proofreader ensures that all printed material produced is grammatically correct, structurally sound and logical, and that the intended meaning is clear. Ministry Requirements Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence Essential Duties and Responsibilities Proofreads original material checking for proper grammar, structure, BGEA style, punctuation, accuracy, logic, and copyright of each piece Proofs material consists of web stories, emails, landing pages, streaming pages, event websites and more, double‑checking links. Contributes to the printed proofing projects at BGEA, checking for proper layout, with no missing elements, proper color break, correct fold, pages in right order, spots, and blemishes Looks at materials on both desktop and phone for user experience quality control.
