Dietary Aid / Prep Cook
Try and Hire / IMMEDIATE OPENING

• Shift: 10:00am-7:30pm
• Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary: Dietary Aid/ Prep Cook will work in a clinical kitchen setting, assisting team with preparation of food, food trays and other items for patients and facility staff.

• Food preparation: Assist with preparation of nutritional meals for patients and or residents with understanding and care taken to address any allergies or food restrictions of patients.
• Food safety: Current Food Handlers Card required and must work with standards of safe food handling practices
• Maintain cleanliness and care of kitchen, food prep surfaces, food stations, food storage areas and dining room by organization and continuous cleaning and sanitizing surfaces throughout each shift.
• Wash dishes and cookware/ flatware, by hand or by operation of an industrial dishwasher
• Deliver meals or food trays to patients' rooms as assigned, interacting with patients in a respectful manner
• Waste and garbage removal
• Interact with patients and others respectfully, with kindness and care
• Cleaning and maintenance of all appliances and kitchen equipment

Requirements:

• Current Food Handlers Card
• Current TB test 
• Clear criminal background
• 1+ years of dietary / foodservice experience
