Food Lifeline is seeking a Corporate Relations Coordinator to help end hunger in Western Washington by engaging companies, associations, and community partners in our mission. In this vital role, you’ll support corporate fundraising and event initiatives, manage a portfolio of corporate donors, and help drive Food Lifeline’s annual philanthropic revenue goals. Responsibilities Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partnerships and donors. Manage a portfolio of 50–100 institutional and corporate donors for engagement and retention. Coordinate Food Lifeline’s major corporate campaign, Food Frenzy, and other key events. Collaborate with the Corporate Relations Manager and Events Coordinator on fundraising initiatives and campaigns. Prepare compelling proposals, reports, and presentations for corporate partners. Maintain accurate donor and activity records in the organization’s CRM system. Key Skills Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills. Proven experience managing corporate giving programs or sponsorships. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail. Passion for Food Lifeline’s mission and an understanding of issues related to hunger, poverty, racial inequity and social injustice. Role Responsibilities Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Cultivate and steward corporate partnerships in support of Food Lifeline’s mission to end hunger in Western Washington. Work closely with the Corporate Relations Manager and Events Coordinator to align events and partnerships with the organization’s mission and financial goals. Manage a portfolio of 100 mid-level corporate donors and prospects with goals for acquisition, retention, and renewal, as well as engagement leading to increased contributions. Prepare and deliver persuasive and effective proposals and reports for consideration by corporate partners and prospects. Support staff, corporate volunteers, and community members interested in activities and events that benefit Food Lifeline (e.g., Workplace Giving Programs, 3rd Party Events, Corporate Promotions/Cause Marketing). Manage Food Frenzy, Food Lifeline’s largest peer-to-peer corporate campaign, through internal logistics and coordinate the stewardship of volunteer committee members, volunteer ambassadors, and executive leaders for Food Frenzy as well as other corporate opportunities. Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate prospects and volunteer groups through research and outreach. Enter or upload action reports, maintain donor records, and collaborate to monitor and report on targets. Support major campaigns and events, including occasional nights and weekends. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all partnerships. Meet goals through meaningful interactions and coordinate with fundraising teams for individual and corporate support. Maintain accurate records in the database and support stewardship activities. Represent the organization with professionalism and passion. Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on stewardship, reporting, recognition, and publications. Attend meetings and staff volunteer committees as required. Other duties as assigned. Job Scope and Qualifications Job Scope: Maintain confidentiality, operate with professional standards, work independently with limited supervision, and contribute as a cross-functional team member. Candidate Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of development, moves management, corporate solicitation, cause marketing, event planning, and corporate partnerships. Strong leadership, teamwork, project management, and customer service focus. Ability to develop relationships with leaders of partners and businesses. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and nonprofit CRM tools (e.g., Raiser’s Edge). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with good judgment and discretion. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including public speaking. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education and Experience Minimum six years of fundraising experience focused on corporate partnerships; experience soliciting five- to six-figure gifts preferred. Understanding of hunger, poverty, racial inequity and social injustice; awareness of issues faced by people experiencing poverty. Professional fundraising software experience preferred. Job Conditions and Hours Office setting with adequate lighting, heating, and ventilation; occasional long periods of intense focus. Physical demands include extended sitting, keyboard use, and ability to lift 20–30 pounds during events.
