Responsibilities Set up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment in accordance with Event Order (EO) and break down assigned banquet rooms according to manager's instructions. Service of food and beverages according to standards and event orders. Prepare work areas such as coffee stations prior to function, maintain condition and cleanliness of banquet rooms, public areas, and storage areas. Attend all scheduled mandatory Banquet Department meetings, trainings, and hotel meetings. Maintain standards of quality and service according to Marcus Hotels and Resorts and Marriott standards. Perform all other related duties and special projects as requested and/or assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to obtain and maintain an active Lancaster County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification and any additional training/certification requirements per Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Marriott, and Lancaster County. Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, game days and the ability to work under pressure. Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry 30 lbs. and ability to stand and move throughout continuously to perform essential job functions. Must be detail-orientated, able to multi-task, produce high quality and accurate work as well as show professionalism in all facets of the workplace.
