Architectural and Interior Designer – High-End Residential

📍 Location: Hollywood, FL | 🏗 Full-Time

About UBR GROUP

UBR GROUP is a fully integrated real estate development firm specializing in high-end residential projects, including both single-family and multi-family developments. Our expertise spans real estate development, architecture, interior design, and construction , ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Architectural and Interior Designer with proven experience in both design and construction coordination to lead the design and technical execution of high-end residential projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a keen design sensibility, technical rigor, and a collaborative spirit. You will be responsible for overseeing all architectural phases— from feasibility studies and schematic design through permitting and construction administration—ensuring seamless integration of design with buildability and budget.

You will work in close partnership with our Development, Construction and Designers team, serving as a key liaison to ensure that architectural vision is realized on-site. As a leader within the team, you will also mentor junior staff and help uphold and evolve the firm’s design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

·      Be part of the lead development of architectural and interior design projects from concept through construction documentation, utilizing advanced Revit skills to produce detailed, code-compliant drawings that align with project goals and design intent.

·       Prepare and manage complete construction document sets —including plans, elevations, sections, and details—while coordinating with structural, MEP, and other consultants to integrate all building systems.

·      Translate design concepts into buildable solutions, contributing to technical detailing, constructability, and cost-efficient decision-making throughout all project phases.

·      Conduct weekly site visits and maintain clear communication with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure execution aligns with design intent and timelines.

·      Collaborate with development, construction, and design departments to deliver high-performance, fully integrated project solutions.

·      Oversee zoning analysis, code compliance, and permitting processes to support project feasibility and approvals.

·      Mentor junior staff and interns, while also leading design coordination meetings and contributing to internal standards, templates, and quality control protocols.

·      Monitor project timelines and budgets from pre-design through close-out, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.

·      Support material selection and specifications, balancing aesthetic vision, performance, and budget constraints.

·      Advise leadership on project staffing and team resourcing needs as the firm grows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design, construction and production, with a strong portfolio of completed residential projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, from concept through construction.
  • Proven success in a Project Manager or Architect role, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Expert knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and residential building systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD , Adobe Creative Suite , and Microsoft Office .
  • Strong knowledge of zoning regulations, building codes, and permitting processes, especially in South Florida.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles, LEED certification, and integrated project delivery methods.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach to quality assurance.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to visit job sites as needed.
