Position Overview: The Extron Product Development Department is searching for an Applications Engineer to work in our R&D environment on the audio product development team. Key Responsibilities: Working in an R&D environment on the audio product development team. Assist with conceptualizing, defining, documenting and beta testing of new products. Supporting and training other teams in the organization. Will focus primarily on growing and supporting Extron's audio line of products including; audio accessories, speakers, amplifiers and audio DSP processors for the professional audiovisual industry. Qualified Candidates will have: BS degree in EE or ET or equivalent experience in the audio visual industry. 2 years wprking experience with design tools such as AutoCad and/or Microsoft Visio. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Basic knowledge of either live or integrated audio systems. Basic knowledge of AVoIP and associated network protocols. Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate. Dante Certification is a plus. Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment. Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
