3D Printing Technician

Position Overview: The 3D Printing Technician is responsible for developing, implementing, reviewing, and improving the production process for the 3D Printing Department. In this position, you will be designing, verifying, validating, and troubleshooting the processes. The successful candidate is a creative problem solver who can effectively collaborate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders (Quality, Operations, Program Management, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers.
• Use CAD software to prepare and optimize designs for 3D printing.
• Assemble and disassemble electro-mechanical components as needed.
• Collaborate with design teams to optimize designs for 3D printing.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D printing technology.
• Basic CAD skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Associate degree in ME or EE, preferred.
• 3D modeling and CAD experience with PTC Creo is a plus.
• Ability to energize, develop and build relationships with co-workers and cross-functional team members.
