Through different styles of movement we are able to address the deep yin aspects of our skeleton, tendons and ligaments and nourish the body with more static, longer held supported poses. All levels welcome.

EIGHT STRANDS OF THE BROCADE: Qigong for Energy & Health

Looking for ways to energize yourself as daylight lasts into the evening and summer approaches? Eight Strands of the Brocade is one of the most common forms of Qigong, primarily designed to improve your health but often used as a warm-up for Tai Chi, Qigong and other physical activity. In this workshop we will learn a series of 8 movements associated with energy meridians in our body. Most of the movements can be done seated or standing, so everyone can join in. Teri will provide a handout to support your ongoing use of the movements.
